Eid-Ul –Adha (festival of sacrifice) is an important Islamic festival to commemorate the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God. Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated in KC International School on 21-8-18. A special assembly was held in the atrium to mark the occasion. It started with prayer followed by the thought and news. In special assembly, students presented one act play showing the sacrifice of Abraham as an act of obedience to Allah.
A great sense of enthusiasm and affection was seen among the students through their songs and performances. A talk was presented by Mhd. Irshad Alam to make the students aware about the historical background significance and relevance of this occasion. A beautiful Kawali sung by the School Choir mesmerized al spectators. At last, the Principal Mr. Subhendu Sarkar wished Eid-Ul-Adha to everyone.
