Buddha Purnima With our THOUGHTS we can make the World - Buddha The birth anniversary of Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism is celebrated as Buddha Purnima or Buddha Jayanti with much fervour across the world. Many religious activities are practised at this festival. Devotees of Buddhism celebrate Buddha Purnima with great devotion all over the world. India is a diversified country and Unity in Diversity has always been our motto. We respect all religions and celebrate all festivals with the same enthusiasm.So being a teacher it becomes our responsibility to impart this knowledge to our children and to acquaint them with every tradition and culture and make them respect the diversities we have around us. So, we, at KCIS conducted a special session for the students on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. |
