Baisakhi Celebration at KC International SchoolBaisakhi holds a special significance for farmers as it is a Spring harvest festival. It is celebrated in India with great fervour. To mark the significance of the Harvest festival, KC International School Jammu celebrated Baisakhi with full enthusiasm and zeal. Shifali Sharma,TGT Hindi, taking lead of the special assembly quoted a speech to highlight the foundation day of Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh. Students sang Baisakhi folk song and also performed Punjabi Bhangra Dance in colourful Punjabi attire. The Students, Teachers & Principal were present to grace the occassion. The programme came to an end with the appraisal of Ms Anupama Sinha, Principal KCIS for Ms Sonal Gupta (Middle wing Coordinator), Rajni Malhotra (CCA Coordinator) and her team to make the programme a success. She also expressed her gratitude towards the farmers and advised the students to respect food and don’t waste it. She congratulated the KCIS family and pay regards to all.
