KCites attend Virtual MUNSuccess is where preparation and opportunity meet. It does not lie in results but in efforts. One such opportunity was grabbed by the students of Class VIII to XII as they attended the virtual MUN held at KC Public School, Jammu. It familiarized delegates with substantial topics of debate and gave them a platform to develop leadership skills and the ability to adapt and deal with unexpected situations. More than 150 delegates from all over Jammu participated in this 2 days’ activity from 15th to 16th January 2022 to learn about diplomacy, international relations and the United Nation. Ten delegates fr om KCIS, namely Ayush Kichloo ( VIII), Ridhima Khajuria (VIII), Divya Bhat (IX),Achyutam Sharma (IX), Kamakshi Dutt( X), Prashansa Sharma(X), Aditi Sharma (XI), Ridhima Chadda (XI), Ravleen Guttu (XI) and Kritika Dutt ( XI) participated. Following children grabbed the accolades: Achyutum Sharma- Best delegate Aditi Sharma- Special mention Ridhima Chadda- Special mention Kritika Dutt- special mention Ravleen Guttu- Honorable mention Ayush Kichloo- Verbal mention This MUN was an opportunity to practice and enhance research, public speaking, team work negotiation and writing skills & proved to be a greatly enriching experience. The Management, Principal KCIS felt elated on seeing the exquisite performances of children as they maintained the benchmark settled by their seniors. They congratulated and blessed them for many more such kind of milestones. |
