KC International School hosted SPIC MACAY - Event Gallery

KC International School witnessed a Hindustani classical recital by Mrs. Kalapini Komkali who is counted among one of the most promising vocalists of present generation.She was accompanied on tabla maestro Shri Shambhunath Bhattacharya Ji and on harmonium Shri.Chetan Nigam ji. The programme was organised under the aegies of SPIC MACAY Jammu Chapter under the supervision of of Dr. Sapna Sangra who has been taking the reins of the culture and art of the country and has been bringing the artists of repute to Jammu to make the children of Jammu get an exposure of the Indian Art and Culture

The musical bonanza began with auspicious lighting of lamp, where School's Vice Chairman Mr. Chaitanya Chowdhary and Principal Mr. Subhendu Sarkar escorted the guests on the stage. Mrs.Kalapini's performance was really heart touching. She gave a scintillating performance, enthralling one and all. The charisma of Sh. Shambhunath ji who was on tabla was equally good. He mesmerisedeveryone with his soul stirring rythms matching with every note of Kalapini ji's musical brilliance. It was a musical treat where everyone enjoyed it to ecstacy. The Principal proposed the vote of thanks and thanked SPIC MACAY team for bringing this circuit to Jammu to reach out to the future generation.
