The Superkids celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm and gaiety.
Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganeshotsav.
The event started with a traditional Ganesh Pujan and Aarti by principal sir. Shri Ganesha's birth story was also narrated to kids. Ms. Mamta Kalotra sang Ganesh Vandana, dance teacher Ms. Raksha presented a classical dance, depicting the importance of Lord Vinayaka, Mr. Amit and Mr. Michael sang 'Jai Ganesh Deva' with the little bloomings. The children sang Aarti and worshipped the diety.The entire school was filled with the fragrance of selfless devotion. Kids also chanted shalokas and mantras with their teachers. 'Ganpati Bappa Morya' echoed in the entire school.The Principal, Mr. Subhendu Sarkar said that one should not forget the culture, tradition and importance of celebrating festivals. The Headmistress, Ms. Nidhi Bhosle asked the students to celebrate the festival with joy and devotion.
