KC International School, celebrated Grandparents Day/Graduation Ceremony for its students moving from kindergarten to class 1,on 19TH March 2018.The gala event was attended by grandparents and parents who were as excited as kids when they saw their little ones dressed up in convocation gowns receiving scrolls. It was indeed a moment of pride for the little graduates to receive the graduation certificates from the Chief Guest Mrs. VijayPuri, Mentor Jammu Sahodya.The Ceremony started with the auspicious lamp lit by the Chief Guest, Vice Chairman Mr.ChaitanyaChowdhary,Principal,Vice Principal and Headmistress followed by scintillating performances of KCIS Super kids which left the audience enthralled. The theme of the event was 'Grandparents', and the kids got to express their love and affection for their Grand Parents through songs and dances. Elaborating the theme, with great zeal, the grandparents also participated in 'Display your talent, and showcased their skills. Adding yet another interactive dimension to the event were the tiny graduates who shared their pre-school experiences in front of the whole gathering. Some of them recalled their first day in school and were quite confident while thanking their teachers.
Seeing the spirited performances by kids, Mrs. Vijay Puri, chief guest, congratulated and blessed the KCIS Super kids on their achievements, confidence and mesmerizing performances. She emphasized that grandparents create bonding among grand children with families.They are the ones to pass their traditions& cultural heritage to their next to next generation.She stated that students of KCIS are not only smart , confident but wise and enlightened too. She congratulated the Management for their whole hearted support for building the School in every aspects.
Commenting on the progress of the children, Mr. SubhenduSarkar, Principal KCIS, said, "we would re-emphasize the commitment of our school towards ensuring that each K’cite evolves into a better global citizen and achieves success in life. He also congratulated the teachers and staff of the School for putting up such a wonderful show.
