Martyr’s day marks the death anniversary of the Father of Nation- Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi, who was assassinated on Jan 30,1948 by Nathuram Godse.It is celebrated all over India on 30th January.
KCIS held special assembly on Martyr’s day to commemorate the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Students of Topaz house conducted the special assembly. Rich tributes were paid to father of Nation and his great contributions in freedom struggle were also remembered.
Floral tributes were paid by Principal Sir, Vice Principal ,Headmistress and activity coordinator.
Principal sir and Vice Principal Mam briefed the students about the significance of this day.Gandhiji’s contributions in attainment of independence were highlighted. One minute silence was observed in the memory of this great leader. The school choir presented devotional songs(Vaishanav bhajan and Raghupati Raghav) as a mark of respect for this great noble soul.
