A healthy mind resides inside a healthy body. This stands for a lot of what yoga can do for you, including helping you to let go of stress. By creating a perfect harmony with your body, yoga can help you self-heal, remove toxins from your body and mind, increase your awareness in yourself, and even help your attention and focus.
Keeping in mind the importance of Yoga, a Yoga Activity was conducted for the KCIS Superkids, in KCIS acres on Monday morning where in the little kids were super excited to demonstrate different yogasanas that they have learnt and practiced during this session . Under the blue sky, on the lush green grass carpet, the little yogis started with warm up and breathing exercises. The children performed aasnas like Chakki chalan, Bhujangasan, Taadasna, Trikonasana etc. To conclude, they took a light meditation session, chanting Om. After the activity, the kids were relaxed and happy besides this their faces were looking radiant as the sun. That's the magic of yoga.
The event was witnessed and appreciated by Principal Mr. Shubhndu Sarkar, he added that whether you’re on the hunt for your inner voice, want to lose some weight and connect yourself all at once, or are finally listening to the voices of yogi’s begging you to try it, yoga is one of the most important daily activities and will change your life forever.
The activity was conducted by activity coordinator Ms. Rajni Malhotra, the children performed under the supervision of of PT instructors and teachers.
