On 22nd January 2018,KCIS celebrated Basant Panchami, festival which marks the end of the winter season and onset of spring season.The special assembly commenced with the Saraswati Vanadana, seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for knowledge and wisdom. The ambience filled with jubilation when tiny tots paid tribute to Goddess of wisdom with great devotion followed by Shalokas and talk by Headmistress Mrs.Nidhi Bhosale highlighting the importance of the day. Kcis Superkids brought home cooked yellow coloured dishes in their tiffins. Yellow flower badges were given to them to have a feel of spring season within the School. Principal Mr.Subhendu Sarkar addressed the assembly and said that the festival signifies happiness and comes to brighten up our lives and bless us.
