Shakespeare Day Celebrated at KCIS - Event Gallery

‘We know what we are but know not what we may be’

To enhance the communication skills of the students, KC International School celebrated Shakespeare Day in which an Interhouse English literary competition was organized. The students participated in the array of events. In interhouse Debate competition, the speakers were the students of classed 8-11 and the topic given by the house was “Female Teachers and preferred over Male Teachers in Schools today”. Bipasha Raina, Aneesh Sharma and Aasmi Abrol secured first, second and third position respectively.

In Interhouse Extempore competition the speaker were asked to pick up the chit and spark on the given topic. Samridhi Chauhan, Pavitra Sharma and Stuti Sharma secured first, second and third position respectively. In interhouse story telling, students of class 4 and 5 participated of the little ones showcased their talents with appropriate expression.Riddhima Bhardwaj, Aareen Suri and Medhansh Parashar secured first , second and third position respectively.

In spin a tale the students of class 6 and 7 participated. They mesmerized all with their Akram Patel, Dhriti Kotwal and Divam Upadhyay secured first, second and third position respectively.
The winners were judged according to the criteria set the panel of the judges. Parul Sambyal, Shipa Singh, Nidhi Bhonsale and Madhu Gupta. Show and Tell was organized for the students of Grade I, II and III. The students spoke very well and showed a high level of confidence. The day could truly be coined as one soaked in literary activities.
