On 26th of November 2017 ,15 students of KC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL had the privilege and honour to witness the grandest symbols of power, the Rashtrapati Bhavan ,one of the magnificent historical place.
It was an amazing experience for the students and teachers as they roamed around the exalted precincts of this historical monument. Under the aegis and guardianship of our respected Principal Mr Shubhendu Sarkar the children were exposed to the spirits as well as the practical facets of our country-the world’s most dynamic democracy so that they grow into responsible, patriotic and civic – minded citizens and torch bearers of their country in the international arena.
Each room whether the Darbar Hall, the Banquet Hall, the Ashoka Hall has a special purpose and design, which reminisce the times gone by.
The Rashtrapati Bhavan is a symbol of power that India rightly commands, and as an Indian, The students were lucky enough to have walked down this historically significant monument. The purpose of the visit was to bring forth the grievances which the school is facing in the development of the adopted school at Bagatpur village and no step has been taken so far by the local administrative authorities for the augmentation of the school, so KCIS had a chance to bring this matter to the President’s notice, therefore a dossier was presented to the president which speaks volumes about the work KCIS has done so far for the upliftment of the school ,which was once in a sorry state.
The children enjoyed the visit and came back humbled & at the same time extremely proud of being the citizens of a country which has such unparalleled history in terms of culture, heritage and architecture. |
