Whether the borders that divide us are picket fences or national boundaries; we are all neighbours in a global community.
KCIS Super-Kids organised Gussy Up-a fancy dress competition on Thursday, November 23; for its British Council Project with an aim to make kids aware about the traditional attires of four different countries.Besides the costumes, the super-kids also gave breath-taking dance performances on the traditional folk songs of these countries. The little seedlings were dressed up in Nepali dresses mesmerised one and all with their cute expressions while dancing on a Nepali song. Saplings gave an amazing touch to their Pakistani Attires while performing on a Sufi song. Bloomings ‘B ‘dazzled one and all in their Victorian style and cool dresses from the United Kingdom and their rocking performance on an English song. Bloomings ‘A’ represented their own country India, the children were dressed up in the costumes of different states of India; needless say, they touched the hearts of all the judges and guest with their wonderful performance.
The event was judged and witnessed by the respected principal Mr. Subhendu Sarkar along with the invited parents of the Super-kids as special guest. The Super-kids were well appreciated by one and all.
Coexistence and personal peace are the heart of global peace and harmony so we must learn to live with each other as a big family.
