The students of KC International School participated in the India UK Cultural Summit organised by the British Council at New Delhi as part of their ongoing UK India year of Culture in which 35 Schools participated. There were three events. The first was the quiz based on all aspects of UK and India. Harsh Bradoo and Ayush Salgotra participated and stood seventh in this.The students were prepared by Ms.Manisha Sharma. The second competition was story writing. Shaleen Gupta participated and stood 4thn in this competition .He was guided by Mrs.Gaisu Kohli. In another competition Chanakya Sethi participated in Photography competition and finished 5th. His pictures are uploaded on the British Council Website. He was guided by Mrs. Priyanka Deol. The students went to Delhi to participate in the event and Mr.Ujjwal dutta accompanied them. The entire event was coordinated by Mrs.Kesar Patel, Headmistress KCIS under the guidance of Principal Mr.Subhendu Sarkar. Overall KCIS stood 7th among the 35 Schools which participated from all over India. The top three schools in order are Suncity Gurgaon, Alkon International Gurgaon and DPS Gurgaon.
