KC International School hosts Interschool Swimming Competition - Event Gallery

Swimming remains an exciting and interesting activity for most children. Swimming competitions cater for the great swimmers as well as encourages participation by all students. These events are great to foster school spirit and a chance for the school community to come together as one. At KCIS, participation in different sports is highly emphasized as we believe that it helps in building essential skills in students.

KCIS hosted its annual event, Inter School Swimming Competition with great zeal and fervor. Around 250 students from different schools competed, displaying their excellent and spirited performances in the pool. Mr.RanjeetKalra Vice Chairman J&K Sports Council and Advisor to the Government of Union Territory of Lakshwadeep and MrChaitanyaChowdhary, Vice Chairman, KCIS graced the occasion with their presence. It was amazingly fun and lively and the children could be seen enthusiastically cheering their friends. The students showed rigorous training and consistent practice in varied styles- Free Style, Breast Stroke, Back Stroke and Butterfly Stroke.

Speaking on the occasion, MrRanjeetKalra said that it was good to see such budding swimmers coming up. He stressed that every sportsman should be particular about his diet and physical exercises which helps them to build stamina.

The third runner up school was K C International School, the second place was bagged by Jodhamal Public School and the Champions trophy went to K C Public School.

Ms Maya Mishra, Principal appreciated the efforts of the teachers and encouraged the children to keep participating in such events which help in building their strengths.
