Mother- An Untold Saga was held at KCIS on account of Mother’s Day. To celebrate motherhood KCIS invited mothers for a session on Women Empowerment. The special guests were DySp Sugandha Mahajan, SSP Manjit Kour, Wing Commander Pushpa Thakur, Dr Sangeeta Mahajan, Dr Renu Bhagat, Mrs Archana Hakim, KAS Renu Bhasin, and Dr Shefali Gandotra. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp. Flowers freshen up every mood and occasion so the next was the floral felicitation of the guests. Then the speakers were invited to speak. The topic was Motherhood and Women empowerment. Each speaker spoke and narrated the tales about their life and their struggles and achievements. Everyone was united on one account that Motherhood was the most commendable job in the entire list of professions. A true salute was paid by everyone either to their mothers or to the mentors. The entire team of KCIS honoured their Principal, Mrs Maya Mishra by conferring upon her the Best Mentor Award. Ms Hemani and Ms Poonam also gave a dance performance to enthrall the audience and salute womanhood. Principal, Mrs Maya Mishra mentioned that each woman has a story of her own and today it was well narrated by each one of them.
