‘Child is the father of man’, says Shakespeare. On the pretext of Children’s Day falling on 14th November 2016 a colorful programme was organized by the staff members of KCIS. The programme started with floral tribute being paid to Pt. JawaharLal Nehru by the Principal, Vice-Principal, Headmistress and all the co-ordinators of KCIS. Then the morning assembly was carried out by the teaching faculty. The routine assembly was followed by a skit by the teachers of Grade XI and XII. The middle block teachers entertained students with a stunning ramp walk. The students of the Primary Wing came dressed up in coloured clothes. The teachers dressed up as students presented the assembly and other programmes. A few other programmes which were carried out for the day included different games for students and songs dedicated to them and different titles accorded to them by the teachers.
Students and teachers both were excited to have this celebration. Principal Ms. Maya Mishra gave her regards and best wishes to the students and the programme concluded with a joint dance performance by all the students.
