KC International School- Pre- Primary and Grade I celebrated (an everlasting bond of love and care) Grandparents Day.The aim of the event was to felicitate and honour the role and contribution of grandparents to their grandchildren’s life.
The event commenced with a tilak ceremony and lighting of the lamp by Vice-Principal, Mrs. AnupamaSinha, Headmistress, Mrs. Kesar Patel and Group leader Mrs. SoniAbbi.The event was followed by a heart touching welcome song and mesmerizing dance performances by our little stars. A Bhajan and old song medley was a treat for the guests.
Grandparents active participation in “Display your Talent” challenge was the biggest attraction of the event.Later, an activity session was conducted where grandparents and grandchildren together created master-pieces.
Mr. JawaharLalAmbardar and Mrs. SeemaGhai were crowned as the most enthusiastic grand pa and grand ma.
Vice Principal Mrs. AnupamaSinha emphasized on the significant place of grandparent in the lives of their grandchildren by inculcating basic moral values, giving love and care and a rich heritage.
Everyone seemed truly happy. It was a fun packed and successful event, indeed, and we look forward to many more. |
