Krishna Janmashatami was celebrated with enthusiasm at KC International School.A special assembly was conducted by Ruby House.The little Krishna and Radha looked adorable in their traditional costumes and the entire area was transformed into a land of joy, celebration and happiness.The order of the programme commenced with a bhajan recital which spell bound the heart of the audience.A speech was delivered to remind us the importance of Krishna ashtami and the traditional folk culture of our nation.Another soul touching dance formation was presented by the girls of Grade III, VI & VII.The main attraction of the programme was breaking of DAHI HANDI by little Krishna. The students of the Pre-primary wing and Grade I and II had dressed up as Radha Krishna. They spoke a few lines about Krishna and his message on peace. The teachers also narrated the stories of Bal Krishna to them. The programme concluded by the vote of thanks by Vice Principal Mrs. AnupamaSinha.She thanked the Activity Coordinator Mrs. RajniMalhotra,music teachers,dance teachers,Ruby house master and all the students who worked hard to make this special event a success one.Principal Mrs.Maya Mishra wished Happy Janmashatami to all KCites.
