Grand Parents Day Celebrated at KCIS - Event Gallery

Gandhi Jayanti and grandparents day was celebrated at K.C. International School on October 1, 2015. The grandparents of the students of class I were invited for the programme. The function began with the lighting of the lamp by the principal, Mrs. Maya Mishra and Headmistress Mrs. Kesar Patel. Ashlokas on the importance of grandparents in our lives was recited followed by its explanation in Hindi by a grade I child.

A few bhajans were also performed for the grandparents. This was followed by the significant Dandi March by the students of grade I. This was followed by poem recitation and story narration by the students for their grandparents. A hale and hearty Antakshari competition was also organized in which they participated.

A fashion show was also organized wherein the grandparents took part in . They walked the ramp with grace and beauty adding sparkle to the glittering show. Later on the grandparents and grand children together participated in ‘Freeze the Moments” a photo frame making competition. The best photos were awarded. Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Maya Mishra said that we need the blessings of grandparents. She thanked them for being a part of KCIS family.
