K C International School celebrated Annual Day

K C International School celebrated Spark 2015, its annual function on November 4, 2015. The function was held at Gen Zorawar Singh auditorium.

The function started with the lighting of the lamp and floral felicitation of the guests. The primary school presented Snow White-An enchanting Musical. The story of Snow White and the seven dwarfs was enacted interlaced with beautiful songs and dances. Different scenes were created with props on the stage to give the desired effect.

The entire snow white was beautifully interlaced with dance performances. The highlight of the show was the birth of snow white and ballad which followed. The programme consisted different dance forms like the ballad, the jazz, contemporary, etc. the important themes like Clean India, Clean World was also effectually presented. The students also gave the message of save Trees save the world. This sequence took place when Snow White went to the forest and was troubled to see the deforestation taking place.

 

A musical orchestra played a fusion of Saraswati Mantra and other songs. The grand wedding of the Snow White and the prince was depicted through the Grand Finale. The chief Guest on the occasion was Mr Kavindra Gupta, Speaker of Legislative Assembly and the Guest of Honour was MrDaneshRana, IGP, Jammu.

Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest Mr Kavinder Gupta, Speaker Legislative Assembly stressed that the children are like clay and it is in the hands of the teachers to mould them as future citizens. He appreciated the efforts of the staff and students in presenting the show.

The board of governors –Brigadier (Retd) SaranjitSahney was also present to grace the occasion. Mr Chaitanya Chowdhary, the Vice chairman of the school presented the vote of thanks. He said that reading is a part of growing up and each child must read books. He stated that the theme chosen-Snow White an Enchanting Musical was a good compliment to the teaching strategies being followed in the school.

Principal, Mrs Maya Mishra presented the school report mentioning the achievements and awards of the school. She outlined and highlighted the achievements of the students in the co-curricular and and academic field. She expressed special thanks to the parents for their co-operation without which the holistic development of a child is not possible.

The annual function of the primary department was conceptualized by the Headmistress, Mrs Kesar Patel.
