KCIS Celebrated Independence Day
The students and staff of K C International School celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic fervor. The morning sky dawned with raindrops everywhere, but the zeal of KCItes related to patriotism was at its height. The day began with a special assembly. The inaugural poem was recited by Ms Manju Gupta, the Hindi teacher of the school. She recited a self composed poem. This was followed by a dance and a song recital. This was not the end of the day. There was an Inter-house Music Competition organized for the students of Classes VI-X. The competition was adjudicated by Mr. Aneesh Mattoo and Mr Rajat Bhan. Both of them appreciated the efforts put in by the students and teachers to make the competition a successful one. They also gave a performance to encourage and motivate the students. This was not enough. A flag making and badge making competition was also organized by the middle wing of the school. The students of classes I and II made ‘take aways’ for Independence Day. The principal of the school Mrs. Maya Mishra greeted everyone on the occasion of Independence day. She stated that the students should not misuse their rights and liberties but remember the freedom fighters and their sacrifices and take India to great heights.
