Eid was celebrated at K C International School on July 17, 2015. Eid is celebrated by Muslims after ending a month long fasting. Eid is a time to celebrate and share happiness. It is also a time to forgive and forget and move ahead. All these values were instilled in the students on the occasion. A special assembly was organized to mark the festive occasion of Eid. The celebrations started with a thought and a poem by the students of Grade I. Talk was also presented by some students. Then a melodious song was sung by the choir on the occasion of Eid. Some students also presented a dance item to express their joy and happiness for the Muslim brethren who spent an entire month in prayers and fasting.

Speaking at the celebration, Principal, Mrs. Maya Mishra wished everyone on the occasion. She said that festivals are a time when unity is seen among people. Each festival in India is very important and the best part was that people of all religions come together to celebrate most festivals. This was the essence of India’s integrity and here we truly uphold the fundamental principles laid down in the constitution.
