As a part of understanding, each child individually and knowing his/her interests/hobbies. The class teacher will dedicate a week to each child as a part of the ‘know your child’ programme. In accordance with this programme, it is also important that the parents involve yourself in all that the child will be a part of in the week of the activity. For the culmination of this week the class teachers invite the parent to come and speak to the class on a Friday and share all their impressions of their ward with the rest of the class. The teachers also prepared a chart with all their likes and dislikes, their pictures, their family pictures and also other notes that they would like to share with the class. This enables the teacher and the child to build a personal bonding apart from bonding between parents and school and amongst peer members.

The parents highly appreciated the programme started by the school. The children were also enthusiastic about it.
