November 14 always celebrated as Children’s Day, as this day is the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, popularly known amongst the children as Chacha Nehru. His love towards children is acknowledged every where. K.C. International School celebrated this day with great pomp & show to show that all how children are important and lovable to us. The program started with the welcome of the chief guest Mr. Sudesh Pal, Secretary, Ved Mandir accompanied by Ms Seema Gandotra and Mr. S K Sharma, Well Known Magician also present there to grace the occasion. The group of Great Magician S K Sharma presented the great show with wonderful magic tricks. The program was followed by skits presented by English and Hindi drama clubs which emphasized on unity is strength as united we stand and divided we fall. Another skit “stop Corruption” showcased how corruption is destroying the society and how we can stand against it. Teacher of KCIS dedicated dance performance for their beloved students. The group songs were also presented by the school choir. Various speeches presented by different age group students to show their love and knowledge towards Chacha Nehru.
Pre- primary wing teachers were in the different attires and performed on various rhymes. They were in the costumes of clowns and one teacher performed as Chacha Nehru to make children aware of the life of Chacha Nehru. The students of class VI had composed and designed a sports magazine for their class which was showcasing ancient Olympic games and present scenario for games. The magazines were inaugurated by the Principal Dr. Ravi Bhushan, Mr. Sudesh Pal, Secretary, Ved Mandir and Principal, Primary Wing-Ved Mandir Mrs. Seema.
Class III presented the Dress-up day show. They were in the costumes of various countries and showcased the culture of their country. The activity was performed to move towards one world concept.
The Chief Guest was very happy to see the kind of efforts institution is putting up. The Principal Dr. Ravi Bhushan appreciated the presentations by the students. He conveyed his love to all children as they are the future of any nation.
