India is the country of rituals, colours and festivals. Our children grow with the values and cultural heritage around them. KCIS always inculcate the values in their children for all parts of life. KCIS celebrated diwali in a unique way. In special assembly drama club presented one act play on safe and eco-friendly diwali. There was class decoration event. All the children participated enthusiastically in all the events.
Inter house rangoli competition was also organized. All the four housed participated in that, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz and Emerald. They made beautiful rangolies with the great colour combinations and message. The sapphire house stood first and ruby house was the runner up. Number of parents was invited to judge and participate in Diwali Utsav. They all were overwhelmed and enjoyed the festival time in KCIS.
The Vice Chairman, Principal Dr. Ravi Bhushan and guest parents lighted the lamp and started the competition. The Principal also told that this festival the sign of prosperity and light. He added the festival of light signifies the victory of knowledge over ignorance, good over evil and hope over despise. He motivated the students to celebrate diwali in eco-friendly manner. We all should respect our rituals and celebrate them with all pomp and show.
