God is one, but he is the creator of innumerable forms. He created Music. Look out into the universe and contemplate the glory and effects of songs & music. We cannot even think about our life without music. K.C.International School hosts 9th Sur Sangam- an inter school music competition on 18th October 2014. In which number of reputed school from all over the Jammu participated like G D Goenka, Model Academy, Banyan International, Army School Ratnuchak and Sunjwa, Stephans International etc. There were three categories group song senior, group song junior and solo category.

Mr. Kiran Wattal, Commissioner Municipality-Jammu was the Chief Guest of the event and Mr Pradeep Dutta, Chief Bureau-Times Now was present as a Guest of Honour. The event was started with the lighting of lamp and dance department presented Sarasvati Vandana to start the competition with the blessings of god.

Sr. Vice Chairperson Smt. Saroj Mahajan, Vice Chairman Mr. Chaitanya Chowdhary and the Prinicpal Dr. Ravi Bhushan were also present on the occasion. The guests and everybody present on the event appreciated the effort and way the event was organized. They lauded the performance of the participants and the school Management and the Principal Dr. Ravi Bhushan for their active role in providing platform to perform such magical and harmonious series year after year.

The event was judged by the prominent personalities of music world from Jammu. Dr. Renu Sehgal-HOD Govt. Women College Gandhi Nagar, Ms Anupama Sharma-Professor- Music, Parade College, Mr Ravi Sharma-Composer, Retd. Professor Parade College and Kuldeep Sapru-Composer/Arranger. They were also mesmerized with the participants and it was very difficult for them to select best performers among all. Although if it is competition than result is also essential The result of the event is as follows:
