The tiny tots of class 1 of KCIS visited Main Post office, Gandhinagar to commemorate World Post Office Day.
It was an educative and fun filled trip for kids, as they were thrilled to see the letter being stamped, sorted and marked for delivery. The enthusiastic kids posed several queries to the Post Master who was more than happy to answer. It really was an enriching experience for students who learnt about Registry Post, speed post, money order and other services offered by post office. They were also given post cards by the Postmaster. First hand experience of ‘Posting a Letter’ was the highlight of the event as they were excited to post letter themselves to their parents. World Post Office Day was also celebrated by 2nd and 3rd classes where they wrote letter to their parents, which was posted. The students are eagerly waiting for their letter to be received by their parents. Principal, Dr. Ravi Bhushan encouraged the students and teachers to execute such educational trips in order to inculcate ‘First hand learning’ in all walks of life for their holistic development, which KCIS believes in.
It was overall a great learning experience for the students.
