Great books help you understand, and they help you feel understood. There are perhaps no days of our childhood we lived so fully as those which we spent with a favourite book. Keeping in view the same, K.C. International School organized Book Exhibition for the students and staff for three days conducted by Scholastic India Pvt. Ltd. From 8th to 10th October.

A child must be willing to be DEAR – ‘Drop Everything And Read’. Hence this is an initiative to inculcate good reading habits in the students and to help them to be fluent in the use of English language. The students will be able to browse through the books. Relevant activities are also planned for the students.

On display will be a wide range of books from Indian & International publishers. These books are age specific, curriculum relatives excepting and enriching. The exhibition is showcasing various titles of books i.e. story, fictions, general awareness and novels, etc. The Principal Dr. Ravi Bhushan inaugurated the book fair and said, that A great book should leave you with many experiences. You live several lives while reading. He added children who read, do better in all aspects of schooling and beyond. The students of KCIS visited the exhibition and enjoyed the world of books. These kinds of exhibitions enhance the reading skills as well as the knowledge. Good books on your shelf are friends that turn their back on you and remain a friend.
