K.C.International School has launched the Clean School – Clean India Campaign in its premises. Various programmes will be conducted in this month long campaign, which will end on October 31, 2014. Special focus will be on Cleanliness, Sanitation and Hygiene.
This cleanliness cabinet comprises of Director-Mentors, the teachers who will guide the students to maintain the cleanliness. The Director Mentors are Ms. Poonam Kochar, Rohini Manhas, Teena Gupta, Reena Singh, Isha Sharma, Asha Parihar and Sheffali Bhakri. All director mentors and student cabinet had taken pledge as guided by the Principal for the cuase.
The Cabinet Ministers Undertook a cleanliness drive wherein the entire sports ground was cleaned and the litter was disposed in three different bins-namely Biodegradable, Non-biodegradable and Recycle, waste. The Cleanliness Cabinet will also keep a watch on clean classrooms and school premises based on certain preset parameters. Every week a most clean classroom award will be presented in the assembly.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Ravi Bhushan stressed on the importance of cleans & hygienic surroundings. He said that every student should came forward and join this national endeavour and make an effort to keep the surroundings clean. He concluded by slaying cleanliness is next to godliness that we all must be self motivated to maintain sanitation , cleanliness and hygiene.
