KCIS holds Teachers Training Programme
 

Educators herald the change in the society. Hence teachers also need to refresh their skills. The needs of the students are also changing. Hence teacher training programmes were organized at KC International School Jammu. Difference topics were chosen by the resource-persons to deal with the various aspects of education. Mr. Darshan Sharma took a session on improving communication skills of the students and improving pronunciations of the children. He also stressed on the need of latest tools in education and the importance of giving instructions at various stages of teaching learning process. The entire teaching-learning process involves giving and following instructions.

Mrs. Rajni Rikhye brought out the importance of knowing about the child development. She spoke about the early stages of child education and care. She demonstrated how activity based learning can be inducted in the curriculum to facilitate the overall development of a child.

Mrs. Auditi Malhotra delivered the importance of class room management. She touched on all the major aspects which included the setting of furniture and the movement of teacher in the classroom. She unveiled the different strategies of managing the classroom which prove effective for all the age-range of students.

Mrs. Kesar Patel brought out the different behavioural pattern found in children and some important techniques which are useful in dealing with these types of children. She also briefed the teachers upon different activities which provide value based education to the students. She also gave certain fillers and short activities to be conducted in the class which are very helpful in bringing back the attention of the students while teaching is going on.

Speaking on the occasion Principal, Dr. Ravi Bhushan thanked the resource persons for conducting the fruitful and educative sessions. He stated that such workshops justify the statement ‘Learning beyond the textbooks” As such orient6ation programmes equip the teaching fraternity with various skills thus enabling them to deal with the challenges of the twenty first century.
