Teachers day Celebration at KCIS

"A good teacher is the one who can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill a love of learning."

Everyone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system. In order to mark the day of the birth anniversary of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan widely known as Teachers’ Day, KC International School marked the day with eminent exultation.

A remarkable and quaint Virtual celebration was hosted through “Zoom app.” It was a fun-filled and dazzling event of music, dance, art, poetry, fun games and what not.
The event commenced with the welcome speech by Head Mistress KCIS, Ms. Poonam Bhagat. The Senior Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Saroj Mahajan; Vice Chairman, Mr. Chaitanya Chowdhary; Principal KCIS, Mrs. Anupama Sinha, Dean Academics, Head Mistress, Activity Coordinator, Middle Wing Coordinator, and Pre-Primary Wing Coordinator paid floral tribute to the greatest teacher, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and inaugurated the event with the lighting of the lamp followed by Ganesh Vandana performed by Aasmi Abrol.

The event began with the artistic talents where the teachers showcased their love for art and paint followed by Musical Saga where the aura was filled with the melodious songs sung by the teachers. A jovial Tongue Twisterr session for the teachers brightened the event followed by “How precious you are”, a tribute to the teachers by a student, Harshil Gupta.

The event moved forth with the Ramp walk succeeded by wonderful dance performances by the teachers. Activity Coordinator, Ms. Rajni Malhotra recited one of her poetic composition Khwahish. Dean Academics, Ms. Arti Sharma extended her gratitude towards the teachers. Principal KCIS, Mrs. Anupama Sinha while addressing everyone, extended her greetings on the occasion of the Teachers Day. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Pre-Primary Wing Coordinator, Ms. Ameet Kour. Though it was one of its kind virtual celebration, yet the spirits of the teachers and students who were participating from their homes were worth. The entire event was beautifully hosted by our budding KCites, Master Jayesh Singh and Ms. Vrinda Parihar.
