KCIS organized Inter-Class Sudoku Competition Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: it is about understanding. Sudoku is a logic based, combinatorial number placement puzzle. KCIS organized Inter-Class Sudoku competition for grade 3 to 5 on 5th February,2020 in the new block. The objective behind organizing this competition was to inculcate problem - solving skills, critical and analytical thinking and nurturing decision making skills among students. The competition was conducted in two phases. In the first phase, all the sections of grade 3 to 5 participated in which best five students from each section were selected to participate in the second phase. Students enthusiastically solved the puzzles using different mathematical strategies. The competition was conducted by Coordinator Ms Anuradha Jamwal along with Maths teachers under the guidance of Headmistress Ms Poonam Bhagat. |
