KCIS Hosted Sh Vinay Mahajan Memorial Junior Soccer Challenge

KCIS hosted Shri Vinay Mahajan Memorial Junior Soccer Challenge from 22 to 23 October 2019, wherein six schools GD Goenka Public School, KC Public School, RM Public School, JK Public School, Jodhamal Public School and KC International School participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The tournament’s aim was to use sports to foster friendship among the youth of the city. All the teams competed well and displayed their outstanding performances.

The tournament was bestowed by the Chief Guest, Mr. Satpal Singh Kala, Head Coach of Real Kashmir Football Club, Vice Chairman Mr. Chaitanya Chowdhary, Administrator, Col (Retd) SK Singh, Headmistress Ms. Poonam Bhagat. The chief guest has appreciated the efforts of the schools in organizing the event which brings opportunities for young players to develop skills.

The matches were played under Pool A and Pool B categories wherein Jodhamal Public School and JKPS Kunjwani qualified into the semifinal and reached to the finals. The runner-up trophy was bagged by JKPS Kunjwani whereas the winning trophy was won by Jodhamal Public School.

Activity coordinator, Ms Rajni Malhotra presented the vote of thanks and appreciated the efforts of the coaches and the players.
