Teachers Day Report (2019-2020)

On 5th Sep KCIS celebrated Teacher’s day with great verb and enthusiasm.

The assembly was a tribute to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and the teachers, presented by the students at various blocks, supervised by their coordinators. The students presented their gratitude by saying quotations in praise of him. Coral Sharma (Head Girl) conducted the assembly. Students from different classes expressed their feelings on this auspicious occasion. Akhilesh Mangotra emphasized on importance of a Guru in one’s life whereas Suhani glorified the role of Mentor.

The whole day was full of activities followed by a talent show till pre primary,Flute and Mutki decoration for class 4 and 5 ,Badges and Flag making for classes 6 to 8 and Essay writing for classes 1 to 12.In senior block class 12th students impersonated the role of various teachers and taught class 9 and 10 students during 5th and 6th periods. A special programme was organized for teachers in the school premises which included a mash up song by pre primary and primary teachers and dance programme by dance department. Teachers were honoured with special gifts . Principal Subendhu Sarkar, gave his words of wisdom and appreciated teachers for their unprecedented support throughout life.
